Pune, December 11: Pune Film Foundation and the Government of Maharashtra are organizing the Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) between January 11th and 18th, 2018. This is the 16th edition of the festival, which would have 'Youth' as the central theme.
The online registration process for the film buffs, who eagerly await the fest to watch carefully selected top class films from all over the globe has started today. Detailed information regarding the online registration process is available on www.piffindia.com
Audience can register themselves online, which is the first step of the registration process. Subsequent to which a mandatory spot registration is required to be done at the special counters being created at City Pride - Kothrud, City Pride - Satara Road and Mangla Multiplex. A venue in Pimpri Chinchwad area would also be announced shortly. The spot registration counters shall be operational from December 20th at the places mentioned above and the timings of counters would be from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm.
Students, senior citizens and members of film club having valid id cards can register themselves for the festival by paying just Rs.600/- per delegate.For others the amount is Rs.800/-.
This year PIFF will be held in 5 venues comprising of 10 screens in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. CityPride- Kothrud shall be the main venue of the festival. CityPride-Satara Road, Mangla Multiplex and National Film Archive of India (NFAI) are the other places where movies will be shown during the festival.
